Join us at Georgian College for an exciting and immersive Three-Day EV Conversion Workshop, open to the public with proof of event registration! This intermediate-level course, running from 9 AM to 5 PM on October 23, 24, and 25, 2024, at the Georgian College Barrie Campus, is designed for technicians looking to advance their careers and individuals eager to convert gas vehicles to electric. The workshop costs $1,800 USD and offers a comprehensive introduction to electric vehicle systems, focusing on converting gas vehicles to electric propulsion.
Led by experts from the renowned EV West Conversion Shop, and featuring several guest speakers, this fast-paced course balances theory with hands-on laboratory activities. Participants will learn about electric motor installation, CAN network fundamentals, system monitoring and diagnostics, high voltage safety, and specialty service tools.
